Version history lets you restore all changes for your entire project – from page designs, to component edits, to theme changes. Subframe automatically saves versions of your work as you make changes.
You can restore previous versions at the project-level, or for individual pages, components, or theme.
Project version history
Use project-level version history when you need to roll back multiple changes at once.
Click the project menu next to the Subframe logo
Select Version history
Select the version timestamp from the dropdown in the banner at the top
Click Restore to revert to that version.
Page, component, and theme version history
Open a page, component, or theme in the editor
Click the clock icon in the toolbar
Select a version from the timeline to preview it
Click Restore to revert to that version.
Restoring versions
When you restore a version, all changes are restored across your project, including:
Page designs
Component edits
Theme changes
All other project modifications
Version retention
Version history retention varies by plan:
Free plan : 24-hour history
Pro plan : 7-day history
Custom plans : Longer version history available
